Meet the owners

A family business built on big-company experience.

Coast IT Solutions is locally owned and family-run. Eric and Kimberly co-own the company and bring more than 20 years of experience across the IT and medical industries.

After years of supporting large organizations, we changed direction to put that experience to work for local offices. When you work with Coast, you work directly with the owners, not a rotating queue of technicians who have never seen your office.

Eric

I started my IT career in 1999, during the dot-com boom, as a technical support technician after completing Microsoft Systems Engineer training in Seattle.

From there I moved into IT operations and management in the medical device industry. Over 11 years, I ran IT and medical-record compliance for business locations and data centers in 10 countries.

I then moved into pre-sales, consulting, and enterprise architecture for a global IT service provider. That is where I saw the gap: small businesses had very few good options for IT support that was local, caring, and reasonably priced. We started Coast IT Solutions to fill it.

Kimberly co-owns Coast IT Solutions with Eric. Together they built Coast around a simple idea: the offices in our community deserve the same dependable, well-documented IT that large organizations take for granted, delivered by people who know them by name.
